	UDDERMINT is a specially formulated liniment cream containing 35% mint oil, designed for easy massage and absorption into the udder. It is used by dairy farmers for softening swollen and inflamed udders, and when used early can often help treat mild mastitis infections without the need for antibiotics. It is commonly used as an oedema preventative at calving time.  At the first sign of a problem -  the earlier the better -  around 10 ml of UDDERMINT is massaged  for around 30 seconds into each suspect quarter, immediately after milking . UDDERMINT is  applied for around 3-5 days, and can be used with or without antibiotics. By speeding up the 'cure rate' use of antibiotics can be minimised.
